Q: How has COVID-19 affected your everyday life?

A: "Well my office was shut down once quarantine hit. My business was out of the office running zoom meetings from March-May. I had to adapt my business practices to the COVID-19 protocols given to us. Now that we are back in the office and field full force, wearing a mask in the office and field are protocols we have to follow. Being aware of social distancing is key as well to make not only make us feel comfortable but the customer."

Q: What safety precautions have you taken in the office?

A: "Wearing a mask is definitely important. Just following the basic rules the CDC and clients have given us. Our two main clients right now are Frontier Communications and AT&T. They both told us to keep not just six, but eight feet distance from the customers. I also have an altered interview schedule. I have to spread out the interview times because we can't have ten people sitting and waiting to be interviewed at once. The altered schedule keeps less people in the office but takes up more time.

Q: What has provided you the most stress during COVID-19?

A: "Being locked up in my house from March to May. Being a business owner my girlfriend Karen and I did everything we could to get my business back up running. The CDC said stay inside so that's what I did. The walk to the grocery store was easily my favorite part of the day. Getting fresh air and a little exercise is all we really could do. If we stayed in lockdown for another two to three weeks I don't think this pandemic would have lasted as long as it has because we are still fighting coronavirus."

Q: What positives have come out of COVID-19?

A: "People are more conscious of other people around them. We are not taking everyday life for granted prior to the virus. The social injustice movement has hit the ground running as well during this pandemic. I do believe the movement would have still been powerful without COVID-19. COVID-19 set a ripe for the political environment. People are passionate about politics now because people want to see change and how to defeat this virus. "

Q: Do you have any advice for college students during COVID-19?

A: "Health wife, take precautions the CDC is giving out. Wear a mask, and try to stay away from large groups. I get that's hard for college students to do because college students obviously like to party but just try your best. During any time of crisis, some segment of the nation is going to come out on top. Certain companies have thrived and some have not. Just take a step back and navigate how you can improve your situation. This virus can either defeat you, or you can defeat it. I chose to defeat the virus and so should could who are currently in college.
